Before Lady Gaga, it was Cascada who took over the radio airwaves. These days, most don't even seem to recall who she was. The dance charts queen first entered the hearts and clubs of many with her hit song "Everytime We Touch." Now she's back with a new single called "Pyromania." While I'm not sure how I feel about the song just yet, the video is pretty hot. Pun intended.

Actress Lindsay Lohan is at it again. While not getting much buzz around her movies or music, LiLo is still making the news. Most recently, the above photo has offended some Christians. On the cover of Purple, a French magazine, Lohan is pictured in a white robe with her arms outstretched and crowed with thorns upon her golden extensions. Some suggest that no only is in inappropriate, it's bad timing as Ash Wednesday is this week.
British fashion designer Alexander McQueen was found dead in his London apartment yesterday, allegedly of suicide. Below, celebrities morn his loss. RIP.

Although, the rumors of her new single "Glam" to come out Feb. 10 have turned out to be false, there are rumors that the song below is a demo track (with Heidi Montag vocals) from the upcoming album "Bionic." I think the song is kind of hot, but I'm tired of the rumors. I wish someone who knew what they were talking about would step up and say something. Anyway, enjoy the songs!

By now, I'm sure you've heard the rumors. Pussycat Dolls creator Robin Antin recently announced that there would be some new faces in the group when the Dolls return in 2010. Although there hasn't been any official word of who is going and who is staying, it has been said that lead singer Nicole Scherzinger is the only Doll who has confirmed to remain in the burlesque inspired troupe. The Dolls seem to only have made headlines for their frequent spats as the others don't appreciate the attention that is focused on Nicole. Below is PCD on tour with Britney Spears when Melody Thornton, often said to have the best voice of the Dolls, thanks the crowd for their support "even though [she's] not featured."

I know this is kind of old news, but I have to say that I am very excited for Christina Aguilera's film debut, Burlesque. The more I heard about it, the more I can't wait to see it in November.
Everybody knows that I love Christina Aguilera. After my post the other day, I thought I'd give some love to Aguilera for artists who have copied her. For some reason, no really seems to talk about it. The most obvious is Christina's Back to Basic tour (started in 2006) which had a well executed circus theme.
So... I guess High School Musical star Zac Efron is going to become the new Spider-man movie. While Efron is quite a cutie, I have never been able to work myself up to watch a movie he is in. Not to mention I HATE it when people get replaced for the sake of making a sequel. It happens all to often and usually with films that either A.) Didn't need a sequel (i.e. "Save the Last Dance", or Legally Blonde) or B.) Wasn't good the first time around (i.e. "Into The Blue"). Anyway, isn't it kind of extra late for another Spider-man sequel?
I admit that I do enjoy a Gaga song from time to time. That being said, I also have to say I'm tired of people talking about how original she is and how every other bleach blonde is copying her. The most common comparison is Lady Gaga vs. Christina Aguilera. Below is a picture of Xtina around the time of her greatest hits album and Gaga.
There have also been accusations that Gaga ripped off Dale Bozzio's image as well. Gaga almost seems like Bozzio's doppleganger. :-)
