Britney Fan Site Forced To Close

Jamie Spears, father of the pop princess, threatened to sue Jordan Miller, the creator of BreatheHeavy.com. BreatheHeavy is a popular Britney fansite. Spears lawyers claim the site "is not in compliance of copyright infringement laws, that it violates Britney’s rights of publicity and privacy, and that the site is using Britney’s trademarked name and image with the intention of 'financial gain.'" according to an article on http://x17online.com. The suit probably came about because Miller has expressed that he doesn't support Spears' control over his daughter's life. For the complete story and Jordon Miller's response, click here.

BreatheHeavy.com was forced to shut down due to the potential suit.

LISTEN: All I Ever Wanted

Original American Idol winner Kelly Clarkson had slipped off the radar after attempting to take on a more rock vibe on 2007's "My December." Now, on her fourth studio album, “All I Ever Wanted,” the 26-year-old singer returns to the pop sound that made her famous.

Lead single "My Life Would Suck Without You" broke the record for the largest leap in the Billboard Hot 100, when it jumped from #97 to #1. The song's catchy lyrics and pop beat guide Clarkson into a much needed comeback. While most of the songs follow a similar pattern, others explore various musical venues.

"I Want You," for example, has a fun bouncy beat reminiscent of the '60s that definitely stands out as a favorite. Clarkson tries out her rock side harder than ever in the edgy "Whyyawannabringmedown." Whereas tunes like "Save You" show her softer side with beautiful lyrics and piano accompaniment.

The only disappointment is some tracks lack of originality. The beginning of "If I Can't Have You" sounds a little too much like Miley Cyrus single "Fly On The Wall." And "Already Gone" easily brings to mind Beyoncé's "Halo."

Despite these, Clarkson still pulls the album off. Teaming up with pop sensation Katy Perry, new American Idol judge Kara DioGuardi and others to co-write tracks, "All I Ever Wanted" contains relatable and likable songs.

A deluxe version of the album has also been released, featuring two more decent songs as well as "Making of" videos of the lead single video and album, plus the official video for "My Life Would Suck Without You."

Overall, Clarkson hits all the right notes in a CD that guarantees to remind the music industry and fans who she is and that she is here to stay. "All I Ever Wanted" still might not be as good as 2004’s "Breakaway," but it is definitely a notable attempt.

Huh?

Did the producers of American Idol forget that the show is a singing competition? While I know from watching previous seasons that the popular talent competition brings guest "mentors" to give tips to the contestants and perform on the show, typically the guests can sing. So why Kayne West? Watch him struggle through his own single "Heartless."

Get Over Yourself 3

Yet another case of someone letting fame get to their head.

Actress Katherine Heigl is said to have become quite the diva. The 30-year-old star has gotten in trouble on the set of her latest movie Five Killers for flaking on meetings and making ridiculous demands, according to an article on FOX News. Apparently she is "extremely unprofessional" and requests "crazy amounts of security."

According to a 27 Dresses extra, Heigl "reportedly refused to film any scenes until her pregnant assistant ran around and got her a Coke Zero." Plus she refused to eat lunch or speak with anyone once the cameras stopped rolling...

Not too mention when she made headlines last year when she withdrew her name from the Emmy nominations for Grey's Anatomy saying that the show's writers didn't give her character any "material that was worthy to submit."

Early this year, rumor was that she was desperate to get off Grey's cast - the show that made her a household name. And she publicly "badmouthed" Knock Up, the film that gave her significant box office success.

WTF?
