I Miss 'Joan of Arcadia'

Every night before I go to bed, I always watch an episode of something. Lately, it has been Joan of Arcadia. I watched the show when it was on and unfortunately got cancelled in 2005 after its second season. The show follows teenage Joan Girardi who sees and speaks with God (who takes on many forms during the show.) Even though I don't consider myself religious by any means, I still enjoy the show and cannot wait until I can afford my own copy of the show on DVD. Until then I'll just have to thank goodness for madika88 on Youtube.

Below features a short clip of the show's star, Amber Tamblyn, singing in a play as a Zombie Queen in one of episodes. It's one of my favorite moments.



The characters make it relatable. The script is well-written and often times, quite funny. I love this show so much!

Boy Amazes Judges

Just last week Susan Boyle, wowed the judges of Britain's Got Talent. Now, 12-year-old Shaheen Jafargholi has stolen the spotlight. Mid-performance, Simon stops him and tells him a different song to sing. Shaheen does it even better than the first! What this clip impressed me for two reasons: 1.) The boy's voice obviously, 2.) It showed that Simon really knows what he's talking about. Watch the clip here.

Miss USA Fail

Why is it that Miss USA contestants always seem so ditzy? I mean last year there was the one who talked about "the Iraq" and now this. Really? Personally, I don't care about her opinion, even though I don't agree, but the way her answer is executed is just plain awful. Plus her answer controdicts itself. And what's "opposite marriage?"

P.S. This is probably the best I've ever seen Perez Hilton look. He's actually kind of attractive here.
