Apparently it's been confirmed that Pageant officials paid for Miss California Carrie Prejean's breast implants. While I do not have a problem with people getting plastic surgery, shouldn't a beauty pageant celebrate and recognize NATURAL beauty? After the whole Miss USA controversy, I really have no respect for these types of competitions. Women should be praised for both their natural beauty and intelligence rather than the stereotypical dizzy plastic Barbie that every man wants to bang.
There are so many women out there who feel ugly because they aren't a certain dress size or starve themselves to become America's idea of the perfect weight. Women who dumb themselves down to get attention, hiding their intelligence because it isn't attractive. Why? As someone who has had issues with food in the past, I find it disgusting that women like those that compete in Miss USA are still being put on pedestals. People need to realize that real women watch these shows and that real women have curves and are smarter than these Miss USA chicks.

Agreed. I can't get over how we're in a recession, yet we have money for this crap.
