Although she is only 24-years-old, Amanda Bynes announced via Twitter that she is retiring from acting. "Being an actress isn't as fun as it may seem," she tweets. "If I don't love something anymore I stop doing it. I don't love acting anymore so I've stopped doing it." Bynes starred in various films such as "Hairspray" and "She's the Man." Her last film will be the fall comedy "Easy A," co-starring Emma Stone, due September 17 - if she stays true to her tweet.

American Idol Winner 2010

So apparently Lee Dewyze is 2010's American Idol. The sad part is that I had to research it to figure that out. I heard tons about the Janet Jackson and Christina Aguilera finale performances, but not much about who actually won the show. Looking at his picture holding a guitar, it kind of reminds me of last years' winner Kris Allen. Remember back when Idol had diverse winners: women like Kelly or Carrie, black people like Fantasia or Ruben or even mixed people like Jordin. Now it seems that the show is so tired that only white men can win (the past 3 winners have been Lee, Kris Allen and David Cook.) Time to pull the plug.

'Law & Order' Canceled

On Friday NBC confirmed that the original "Law & Order" has been canceled. The final episode of the 20-year-old television drama will air on May 24. Although this is the end of one show, a new one will be born. A new series "Law & Order: Los Angeles" will begin in fall 2010.

Eminem Hits No. 1

He's back! Eminem's new single "Not Afraid" from his upcoming album Recovery debuts at #1 on the Hot 100. It is the first to enter the top spot in its debut since "3" by Britney Spears and it's the only second rap song ever to do so. The first was in 1997, "I'll Be Missing You" by Puff Daddy and Faith Evans. Em's sixth studio album is due for release June 22. Listen to "Not Afraid" below.

After lead Chick Natalie Maines spoke out against Bush during his presidency (there was even a movie about it) the career of the Dixie Chicks pretty much died. That does not mean that sisters Martie Maguire and Emily Robison aren't sticking together after Maines' departure. Apparently Lady Gaga had originally written "Telephone" for pop queen Britney Spears. For whatever reason Spears didn't use the song and Gaga took to the studio with Beyonce to make the hit tune. However, now the Spears version has finally leaked. Check it out at here. Can't say it's as good as The Gaga, but it is just a demo version.

She closed her Twitter at boyfriend Liam Hemsworth's request.

Yes, the ABC comedy is coming to an end after this final season, but Ugly Betty surely has not dropped the quality of its episodes. The latest, titled London Calling, was full of surprises. The return of some old favorite characters all wrapped up in a decent story-line almost make me want to miss the show when it leaves the air. If you're curious, you can check out the latest: HERE!

Badu Fined For Video

Singer Erykah Badu was fined $500 after she stripped and pretended to be shot in the head in a Dallas Plaza - the same plaza where in 1963, President John F. Kennedy was assassinated. According to The Dallas Morning News, there were no original complaints when the 39-year-old singer filmed her video "Window Seat" March 13. It was not until after it was released on March 29 that a witness came forward and said she was offended. Badu tweeted on Saturday, "i don't care i still love my city and its people."

I've seen some people's various comments on videos and articles about this issue and some of said how disguising she is for doing this. It's interesting how when Lady Gaga bears all in a video everyone loves it, but when someone else does, there's controversy... Check out Badu's video below:

I saw this movie for the first time quite awhile ago, but when I saw it in Krogers, I couldn't help but walk out of the store with it. It's an enjoyable coming of age story starring America Ferrera prior to her role on the ABC series Ugly Betty. In the film, Ferrera has to make the difficult decision of "working in her sister's struggling garment factory" and support her family or "go to college and experience life." Below I'd like to share one of my favorite scenes from the movie where the women accept their bodies and try to explain to the mother that the bigger, the more beautiful.

I Miss Jojo!

It is amazing how much talent this young lady has! At the age of 13, Jojo had her first hit with "Leave (Get Out)." Her voice has incredible soul and depth.



Then I remember freshman year at Wayne State, she came back with "Too Little, Too Late" and everyone was playing it. Again, she showed her undeniable vocal abilities in another catchy tune.



Unfortunately, she had gotten dropped from her label, but I hear she recently got signed to a new one. Hopefully we'll be hearing from this young star again soon!

Jay Z and Beyonce are expecting their first child, or at least that's what Mediatakeout.com claims. The blog states that it learned from a "ROCK SOLID source" that the "Single Lady" singer was pregnant. Beyonce's spokesman and publicist declined to comment saying that they "don't respond to private-matter inquiries." Jay-Z's rep could not be reached.

Is Mystery Woman Xtina? [UPDATED]

This really isn't any NEW news, but it still has been a hot debate. Viral videos posted under the name iamamiwhoami on Youtube have been rumored to be many different artists. However, one name in particular has been on everybody's tongue: Christina Aguilera. With her upcoming album, Bionic, many suggest that this is the beginnings of the record's promotion although it has not been confirmed. Christina's rep even denied it, but that could be to keep it a mystery a while longer. The woman's identity has yet to be revealed.

The trailer drew me in and I had no choice, but to see it this weekend. Better yet, I saw it in 3D. Tim Burton has created a beautiful and creative world that I cannot wait to visit again and again. In addition to that, the characters seem perfectly cast. While I was really looking for what wacky character Johnny Depp was going to come out with, I must admit the Red Queen played by Helena Bonham Carter stole my heart. It's definitely the best movie that's come out in quite some time.

P.S. 'Alice in Wonderland' has beat out the opening of 'Avatar' taking in $210.3 milliom worldwide, making it the biggest Winter premiere of all-time.

More Members Leave PCD

According to their Twitter accounts, both Ashley Roberts and Kimberly Wyatts have left the Pussycat Dolls.
